Calendar, Services & Pricing
Our season in Piedmont runs May through September. We expect to offer special tours to follow the Giro d’Italia mountain stages in the 2nd half of May, and the Tour de France in the French Alps and/or Pyrénées in late July. Autumn is harvest season for both wine grapes and the highly-prized white truffles hunted for in jealously-guarded secret locations in the countryside around the town of Alba. In May the average temperature range is 56–76°F (13–24.5°C); in September, 52–70°F (11–21°C). Rain is generally concentrated in occasional days of rainstorms rather than being drawn out over many days of drizzle, averaging 3.2” (80.5 mm) in late May and 3.4” (86 mm) in late September. The hottest, driest months are July and August.

We make one run each week, transporting departing guests to check-in for their flights, and picking up guests arriving for the coming week. If your flight arrives in the afternoon, please plan to arrive a day early to stay in Nice overnight and meet us at the airport the following morning. If your flight departs early in the morning, please plan to spend the night in Nice on our transfer day and fly out the next morning.
- Admission fees to attractions we visit en route on our rides.
